The draft FY 2027 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is available for review and comment. The UPWP provides a mechanism for coordinating transportation planning activities in the Charlottesville-Albemarle Metropolitan Planning Area. The work program for FY27 outlines the Metropolitan Planning Organization staff work schedule for the period between July 1st, 2026, and June 30th, 2027. In compliance with the adopted CA-MPO Public Engagement Plan, the Draft UPWP is posted for a minimum 15-day public comment period. Public comments will be accepted until April 22, 2026. The CA-MPO Policy Board will vote to approve the FY27 UPWP at the April 22, 2026, meeting.
