In compliance with its Public Participation Plan, the Charlottesville-Albemarle Metropolitan Planning Organization (CA-MPO) is providing notice of two amendments to the adopted FY24-27 Transportation Improvement Program. Both amendments are reflected in the document as Amendment #12 and Amendment #13, available at ca-mpo.org/transportation-improvement-program/. The draft FY 2026 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is available for review and comment. The UPWP provides a mechanism for coordinating transportation planning activities in the Charlottesville/Albemarle Metropolitan Planning Area. The work program for FY26 outlines the Metropolitan Planning Organization staff work schedule for the period between July 1st, 2025, and June 30th, 2026. The Title VI Implementation plan describes the measures the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) adopts to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin.
